Nigerians are excessive people. We don't know how to be subtle. We have the go-hard or go-home mentality in everything we do. Literally everything.

If you are lucky enough to get the support of Nigerians, then you are already the winner in that endeavour. It doesn't matter if you don't win the trophy. You are the winner if Nigerians say you are. But if you get on their bad side, better believe they will come at you real hard till you drop off the face of the planet.&nbsp;

We are just extra. We don't know how to be anything less.

Our extraness is the reason a lot of countries want us out of their nation. How are you a migrant that is richer than the indigenous people? The most successful black-owned businesses are owned by Nigerians in some countries. Nigerians have the highest number of black medical practitioners in a good number of places too. Even if were to be you.

The recent eviction Nigerians are facing now is from the Guinness World Records. Hilda Baci has shown Nigerians a new business adventure and they are hellbent on milking it. After she broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual with 93 hours 11 minutes, other cookathons started emerging from every hole in the country.

Few weeks after she took on the challenge, Dami from Ekiti and her spiritual director came with their cookathon. Hoping to get the same support that Hilda got. But what she didn't know is that Hilda has been in the business for a long time. She has made a name for herself and is a celebrity chef. But of course, Dami from Ekiti thought that all she needed was a prophecy from her pastor and a nudge from her parents to take their kitchen utensils on a fame-hungry mission.&nbsp;

Well, she got the fame she wanted. Mostly dragging from Twitter users. Some people applauded her bravery though, and I will give her accolades in that regard as well.

Our excessive nature can sometimes turn into abuse.

Not long ago, the world made a turn to be more conscious of what they eat and what they put on their skin. Hence, the everything organic, natural, or clean rave.
