Its digital-first transformation, driven by streaming platforms, indeed brought the industry into a new light. Ten years ago, many Gen Z viewers weren’t paying Nollywood the attention it commands today. Or so the story goes.

The local champ is arrested by the police when a stolen phone is found in her car. Stone, the man she loves, framed her. On getting out, she confronts him for his betrayal. And the gang clash begins.

Sitting in a toilet stall, she is sweating and trembling as she forces herself to swallow wrapped pellets of cocaine. She gags and struggles, washing them down with water. Her face is evidently contorted in pain and desperation. It is a claustrophobic moment of decision that seals her tragic fate before she even boards the plane to London.

The rivalry between the two polygamous wives boils over. From verbal insults to physical violence right in the middle of the market. They tear at each other's clothes, rolling in the dirt in front of their respective food stalls (bukas). All this in front of their children and neighbours, who don’t have to pay a dime to watch the generational hatred manifest in a messy, public brawl.

The five brothers, armed with amateur weapons and disguised in cheap masks, break into the mall to steal money for their mother’s surgery. In the middle of their clumsy operation, they freeze as a gang of professional, heavily armed robbers with military-grade gear enters the same mall. The realisation hits them instantly. They are trapped between the police outside and the killers inside.

After being denied entry into heaven, he is forced to return to the living world. He walks down a dusty path, not alone, but physically tethered to the three ghosts of the people he resurrected. They trail behind him like prisoners, a haunting visual of his debt to the afterlife. Suddenly, he realises he must kill them again to free himself.

The four women, dressed in sleek, colour-coded tactical gear, breach the secure facility. The tension snaps when the "leader" pulls a gun, not on the guards, but on her own team members inside the vault. The camera spins to reveal that each woman has pulled a weapon on the other. This scene reveals the four-way betrayal amidst the piles of cash they haven't even bagged yet.
