On a regular afternoon, I hopped on a bus from Yaba to Ojota, drowning out the world with loud music through my AirPods. Unbeknownst to me, drama was brewing on the bus – a drama involving two women, Mariam and Chioma.

As the volume of my music reached its peak, I couldn't ignore the rising commotion. People were shouting, arguing, and the air was thick with tension. Being a sucker for drama, I promptly yanked out my AirPods to eavesdrop on the unfolding chaos.

The mention of Mariam and Chioma puzzled me. Who were they, and why were their names being thrown around like a verbal tennis match?

"Mariam was right to tell Chioma to not argue in front of the children because she doesn't have one" One woman shouted.

"Is it her fault she doesn't have children?" The second woman shouted back.

"Ehen, is it now Mariam's fault- tell me now" The first woman slammed her back.&nbsp;

Amidst this verbal clash, I couldn't help but be intrigued. These weren't your run-of-the-mill market women bickering; there was a hint of sophistication that added to my confusion.

The first woman, tall and well-endowed, faced off with the shorter, plump second woman. My curiosity peaked, so I turned to a nearby passenger and inquired about the root cause of their dispute. I learned that the first woman was engrossed in a reality show on her phone, catching the attention of the second woman, who had seen the show before. A seemingly harmless conversation escalated into a heated argument that now had the entire bus buzzing.

It was surreal. I couldn't fathom how a reality show could spark such a fervent disagreement. My mind raced, wondering which show had the power to turn a bus ride into a battleground.

"You know Mariam does not have sense sha" The first woman said.

"Don't you dare say that, you're the one that doesn't have sense" The second woman wittily replied her.

I'll slap you o" The first woman attempted to stand up in the moving bus to hit the woman. The passengers beside her had to hold her down.

As the women's voices grew louder, passengers, and even the driver, attempted to intervene. The prospect of physical confrontation loomed.&nbsp;

I secretly rooted for the confrontation to escalate – call it my penchant for unexpected entertainment. Just when I thought things would escalate further, the bus driver took charge. He parked the bus and ordered everyone out. The sudden turn of events surprised even me.

"You even look like Caroline" The plump woman threw a final verbal jab. As the passengers restrained the first woman, I observed her closely, and suddenly, it clicked. The reality show causing this uproar was none other than the "Real Housewives of Lagos." Having only seen the first season&nbsp;myself, I had missed out on the drama that fueled this intense dispute – a dispute between two women who mirrored characters from the show.

Suppressing my laughter, I realized the bursty woman did bear a resemblance to Caroline, a cast member from the reality show. Epiphany struck, and I understood the absurdity of their argument over two celebrities they barely knew. With the details of the dispute laid bare, passengers shook their heads in disbelief. Grown women fighting over reality TV stars seemed ludicrous to all witnesses.

Intrigued by their clash, I have decided to watch "Real Housewives of Lagos" Season 2. I pledge to return with the juicy details once I'd uncovered who was truly in the right. The bus ride mayhem truly underscored how even the most trivial matters can spark unexpected chaos.
