Will.i.am embraces his femininity without hesitation. In the July 31 episode of The Diary of CEO, the 48-year-old leader of Black Eyed Peas discussed how he defies conventional gender expectations. He shared, "Growing up, I lacked male guidance or a father figure to navigate those experiences. My mother filled that role, possibly contributing to my strongly feminine disposition. I take great pride in my ultra-feminine qualities and feel no shame in them," revealed Will.i.am.

Consequently, during his upbringing, the "Pump It" musician frequently encountered inquiries about his sexual orientation.

"In the '90s, the support for the LGBT community wasn't as prevalent as it is today," he reminisced. "Thus, back then, people would often question, 'Are you gay?' This questioning stemmed from my feminine traits."

"I've retained my femininity," Will.i.am affirmed. "My identity remains steadfast, reflecting my actions and behaviors, which are influenced by my mother."

He continued, "I embrace my femininity with strength. It's akin to a superpower. When you possess a firm understanding and affection for your genuine self, along with your unique vibes, that's what truly matters."

"Let me clarify," the musician added. "I am attracted to women. Men have never held my interest. Although I'm drawn to females, my demeanor retains its feminine essence."<br><br>

 Will.i.am’s discussion of his femininity stemmed from sharing how he felt a “distortion” at the age of 18, calling it “the hardest path in my life.”

That time ultimately inspired him to produce the 2019 song “Be Nice” with the Black Eyed Peas, which features Snoop Dogg on the track.

“There's nothing wrong with being emotional,” he said. “When you're creative, you're always sensitive, you're hypersensitive. That's a part of creativity. You feel too much, and I feel too much. I empathize hardcore.” <br><br>

"I'm that person in the elevator who strikes up conversations with strangers," Will.i.am chimed in, reflecting on instances when he engaged in half-hour dialogues with unfamiliar individuals.

"I'm committed to never overlooking individuals with whom I can share insights, or from whom I might gain valuable perspectives," he elaborated. "It's about embracing those little nuggets of wisdom exchanged between people."
