Big Brother Naija star Tacha has stepped forward to defend Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham, who has been facing harsh criticism and bullying over her political choices and actions. The actress has been under fire for allegedly arresting a troll who accused her of accepting money from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tacha took to her social media platform on July 10, 2024, posting a video in which she questioned the relentless bullying of Abraham. She expressed her bewilderment at why people are so harsh on Abraham for simply choosing a candidate, emphasizing that everyone has the right to support whoever they believe in.

"I personally don't understand the constant bullying of someone for picking their candidate of choice," Tacha began. "Just like you chose your candidate, everyone else has the same right. The qualities you saw in your candidate are the same ones others might see in theirs."

Tacha further expressed frustration over the criticism Abraham has received for allegedly using the police to arrest a troll. Abraham has already clarified that she only wrote a petition and did not use her influence improperly.

"I don't understand the steady bullying based on the candidate she chose to support," Tacha said. "If you write a petition to the police and the person refuses to honor the invitation, they will pick him up. This has nothing to do with whether Toyin Abraham is a public figure or not."

She also pointed out the hypocrisy of the situation, referencing the public outcry when the Nigerian police didn't take the late singer Mohbad's petition seriously. Now that the police are acting on Abraham's petition, people are complaining.

"You dragged the Nigerian police for not taking Mohbad's petition seriously; now they are taking it seriously, and you are saying they are using the police. Make up your minds," Tacha argued.

Addressing the broader context of Abraham's political support, Tacha questioned whether Abraham's involvement in the previous year's election had any significant impact on its outcome. She asserted that the election result would have been the same regardless of Abraham's support for Tinubu.

"With everyone dragging Toyin Abraham, I want to know what her impact was on last year's election. Would our president still be our president without Toyin Abraham? Yes!!" Tacha concluded, defending Abraham's right to her political choices and actions.
