The festival features various cultural age groups called regberegbe. These groups, composed of Ijebu natives, their friends, and associates, parade in front of the king’s palace on the third day of Eid al-Kabir. Each male and female group dons the season’s finest attire. They wear bright-coloured traditional outfits made from fabrics like sanyan, alaari, etu, and adire, as well as contemporary brocades and laces.
